I've never done a big Easter egg hunt before but this year I thought the girls were at a perfect age to really enjoy one. Usually we take turns hiding empty eggs around the house for a week before (and after). I had a blast finding lots of fun Easter-y stuff to fill over 100 eggs with and hid them all over our yard. Here are the girls all ready to get searching!
I was surprised how fast they rounded up all those eggs. Next year I'll know to make finding them a little harder! ;) Since the weather was pretty nice, the girls played on the trampoline and had a blast!
Then we headed inside to color some eggs.
We all got in on the fun! ;)
Then next morning we woke up to find the Easter Bunny had made a stop at our house.
It might have been a little early for McKenzie!
For breakfast we went to Michelle & Brandon's house then we had another egg hunt.
More to add to their loot!
There were all sorts of goodies inside all those eggs.
There were even a few REAL eggs!
We had fun playing afterwards!
And decorated sugar cookies. Yum!
