Baby Animal Days

This last weekend we enjoyed one of our favorite springtime activities.... Baby Animal Days! It seems like every year there is more and more stuff to do. We had good company and a great time!

A new addition this year... Baby bears! Of course we were not able to pet them but they just looked so cute. It was kinda freaky though to look at the bears paws and realize they were about the same size as the hands of the people holding them.

Easter Weekend

Our Easter weekend started out with a very cold Easter egg hunt in the snow.

Then the girls colored lots of pretty eggs...

When we woke up Sunday morning we saw the Easter Bunny had hidden eggs all over our house so we looked high and low to find them all...

Then we discovered all the loot the Easter Bunny left us...

Then it was off to Grandma & Grandpa's for another Egg hunt....

A Butterfly Birthday Party

Guess who's 3!

After what seemed like forever to her, the day finally came. We've been searching out butterfly stuff for this party for a while and when it finally came... what a day it was!

She loved all the decorations and was just in awe at everything all day long. She could not wait for everyone to come!

And of course opening presents! She got lots of fun stuff from everyone that came. McKenzie picked out a butterfly puzzle for her.

She has been seeing a commercial for this Polly Pocket toy for about a month now and every time it comes on she tells me that she wants it for her birthday. Thanks to Meahma and Papa she got it. Look at her face! She was soooo excited!

She got new clothes from her uncle Troy & Savanah

and of course she had to have new shoes (ones she can put on herself!) to go with from Uncle Alex and Uncle Clint.

She got more fun Polly Pocket stuff from Aunt Judy and family

And for the little girl that loves to fix my hair ALL the time.... a hairdresser set. The blowdryer really works and she loves it!

Kenzie-Lou Who?

In honor of Dr. Seuss' birthday, McKenzie's class celebrated Dr Seuss all week long at school. Friday was dress up day and they were to come dressed up as their favorite character from their favorite Dr. Seuss story. As soon as she found out that The Grinch was by Dr. Seuss it was decided that she would go as Cindy-Lou who.

It was so fun and she absolutely loved it! She wore it all day and got lots of compliments and funny looks from everyone at the store later that day!

Girls Day Out

Since I'm back to having a day off during the week again me and the girls met up with my friend Tiffany and her daughter Lilly for lunch one day. I just love how excited my girls get when they know they are going to see Lilly.

We Love Fancy Nancy! For Valentine's Day we got the girls a new book to enjoy.

We also made some sugar cookies to give away for treats. As always decorating them is so much fun for the girls and they run out of cookies to decorate too fast.

Chad and I got to go out the night before. He took me back to the restaurant where he proposed to me 10 years ago on Valentine's Day. He took flowers there earlier so they could be there on the table when we got there and over dinner he gave me a beautiful necklace. It was so sweet! On Valentine's Day we spent the day at home with the girls. We read their new books and made a nice dinner at home together. So simple yet so great! I love being home with these little cuties!
