Wow... that all went by so fast!

I can't believe it's January already! Was it just me or did the month of December go by way too fast! I guess that old saying is true, "Time flies when you are having fun!" and boy were we having fun. Here's a rundown of what we've done since I last blogged.
*We made a gingerbread houses, one at home and Kenzie also made one at school. We also made sugar cookies and covered pretzels for our friends and family.
*Dec. 16th - Our good friends Michelle & Brandon welcomed a little girl to their family. We made them dinner and went to see the new little one.
*Christmas Eve - We went to Grandma and Grandpa Liebes for Chad's family party. Everyone was able to make it except Brandon & Destiny but they made it up for a visit this last weekend. Afterwards we went to my parents and opened our Christmas Eve present - always pj's! We went home after, hung our new ornament for this year on the tree, listened to the Night Before Christmas then went to bed so Santa would come.
*Christmas Day-Kenzie woke us up at 6:50 because Santa had come!!! Kenzie got a Purple (her favorite color) dollhouse and Brooklyn (our little animal lover) got a farmhouse among lots of other things! My Mom and Dad, My Brothers, Savanah and Bryan came later that day. We exchanged gifts with them and had a big ham dinner! It was delicious! Later that night is started to snow like crazy and my parents had a little trouble getting out of the driveway (since it's uphill) and a scary drive home. After they left we cleaned up what snow we had so far then went to bed.
*Dec. 26-We woke up buried in snow! We had so much snow and it drifted so much it was up over the hood of my car! We spent the whole day cleaning up snow and sledding in our driveway. Chad also hooked us up to the 4 wheeler and pulled us up and down the street. The girls LOVED it! We weren't the only ones either, people were riding their snowmobiles down the street too.
*Dec. 27th - We went to Grandma Jeans for her Mexican Fiesta Christmas Party. We had a Mexican food dinner and pinatas too! Almost everyone was there this year. It was great to see all the little ones play together. Between us there are 7 little ones from McKenzie who is 4 to Ella who was almost a month old. All girls, except one!
* New Years Eve - We went to our friends - Zayne and Bobbi's house, we figured that we'd go home when the girls got tired but they had a blast and stayed up til midnight with us. You would never have know it was way past bedtime.
*New Year's Day - Happy Birthday to Chad! We went to my parents, BBQ'D dinner and watched a movie. As you can tell we had a very busy but very fun holiday this year. our kids got very spoiled and we are all very lucky to have been able to see most of our family throughout the month! Hope you all had a great holiday too and may the New Year be just as great!
