4th Of July Weekend

I love the 4th of July Weekend! It's always so packed with so many fun things! Ours started off with fireworks at my Mom and Dad's house on Friday night.
Saturday night there was a BBQ and more fireworks at Chad's brother's house. (My sister-in-law Judy took this amazing picture. My fireworks pictures didn't turn out nearly as good. I'm still working on figuring out my camera.)
It turned out to be REALLY cold that night. We were all bundled up waiting for the show to start.
The girls were up really late for the 2nd night and being really silly. Since we were right under the fireworks they found it easier to watch them like this.
Once this fire got started being cold was no longer a problem.
The next day was the 4th and also My Mom's birthday. (Cool huh, it was also her dad's birthday and that's the day Kenzie was due! She came a little early, thank goodness, but it would have been neat for her to share her day with her Meahma and Great-Grandpa.) We got dressed up in our Red, Whites, and Blues and we all took my mom out for lunch and spent the rest of the day just hanging out with her. I love all my family so much, so days like this are the best!
And finally to wrap up the long eventful weekend, on Monday, we went to the parade and festivities at the park in Lewiston.
It was definitely fun but by the time it was over we were so wore out. Poor Brooklyn hadn't been feeling like herself all weekend and she was so tired by Sunday night she crawled up on the couch and fell asleep surrounded by pillows.
