I'll sure be glad when spring comes and we can get out of the house! We've had a lousy couple of months and it'll be nice to have some nice weather and fresh air. Brooklyn started out our sickness marathon with a stomach bug 2 weekends in a row. Then Kenzie got it the next week and like always it got her a lot worse! She was down and out of school for 4 days!
Once she got better I got strep throat and then on top of it their stomach flu to go with it! I can not recall ever feeling soooo miserable before! And when that finally ended Brooklyn had her tonsils removed. She was happy as can be when we got there. She didn't want to wear the hospital clothes at first.
Until she saw it came with a cool nurses hat!
She did panic a little when the Dr. came to get her. But she did great and within 20 minutes of being back in her room she was sitting up coloring.
She was excited to have a ride out to the car in a wagon.
She had a couple rough days (and nights) and at her age it was hard to convince her that drinking would help even though it hurts! She's a little trooper though and overall she handled it really well!
