Halloween wrap-up

Here's our pumpkin carving adventure. Grandpa Liebes even stopped by and got in on the action helping his little Brooklyn. We also went to my moms and tried to take some more pics of all 3 girls, obviously they'd already had a piece of candy or two and couldn't sit still.

More Halloween Fun!

On Thursday we invited Savanah and Rialy over to do some fun Halloween stuff. We made Pumpkin masks, spiders with their handprints and covered suckers to make little ghosts. The girls all had their costumes so I dressed them all up and took pictures of them in the yard.

On Friday we went to the Pumpkin Walk. This year was the theme "Calling All Heroes" They do this here every year and it's free to the public and one of my favorite things to see. We went with Judy, Courtney, Jake and Grandma Liebes. People from around the valley create scenes using pumpkins.

Whoa...check this out!

So I saw this link on my cousin Noelle's site and thought I'd try it. This is about the 4th one i did but I does sort of look like McKenzie. I told it to make a boy first and it had really dark spikey hair, so I tried a girl and all you could see was the face because it was wearing a costume that covered "her" head, so I did another boy, it came out with short dark red hair, still not looking like my kids, then I did this one. It shocked me! On all 4 the face was pretty much the same. On this one the eyes are too dark and the nose is too big and but the mouth and cheeks and face shape along with the straight blond hair do rememble McKenzie, only McKenzie, simply put, is still WAY cuter! What do you think?

Some good, NOT so clean Halloween fun!

I thought I'd share some of the fun things we've been doing for Halloween. We first painted pumpkins.

Then we made spiders with the girls' handprints and ghosts with thier feet.

And today we made cookies and decorated them.

Brooklyn just ate the candy then scraped all the frosting off with her fingers. Good thing I only gave her one!

Look at that face! It's hard to see but she's got a big blob of orange frosting on her nose. She was such a mess but she couldn't have been happier.

I decorated the first couple of cookies then let Kenzie take over, she did so good then when she ran out of what we'd been using to make the faces she made up her own with what was left. Cute huh!

I had some other pictures from when we painted but they were on my camera yesterday when I deleted everything :(

I could kick myself!

So I've had my hands full the last couple weeks! Every year when hunting season starts Chad and his friends go camping so they can hunt everyday! While he's gone I am home with the girls trying to keep them entertained all by myself, thus the reason I've been busy and haven't blogged for a while. We've done so much fun stuff and this morning I was ready to post and would you believe I hit the wrong button on my stupid camera and deleted ALL my pictures! I seriously wanted to CRY!!! We'd gone to "Elk Camp" to visit a couple times, we stayed there one night and I had some cute pictures of the girls exploring with Chad. Also when we came home through the canyon the next morning, the sun was coming up on all the trees that were changing colors, I got some awesome pictures that unfortunately I now can not share! We celebrated my Dad and my brother Troy's birthday, we even got our first snow for the year! Last Sunday, we actually had snow on the ground! It had all melted by the next day and this weekend it's supposed to be near 70 again! I am glad it didn't stick around! I love fall and that would have been to quick of a jump from Summer to Winter, plus I am SOOO not ready for snow!
