These Silly Girls

So this last week has been pretty uneventful. Both the girls have been sick, Kenzie on Tuesday then Brooklyn caught whatever it was and was sick Friday & Saturday. We didn't really do much but hang around the house because of it. The weather was nice so chad set up the trampoline, Kenzie enjoyed a whole lot of playing outside with Chad while I had my hands full with Brooklyn.
Kenzie kept begging me to come outside and watch her jump, I took Brooklyn out for a little bit to try to distract her from being grumpy. She liked crawling on the trampoline but she freaked out when Kenzie bounced her a little, then she wanted off! Brooklyn has been playing with dolls a lot lately, here she is feeding the baby...
...And of course a little for herself! She's also discovered she can climb. She gets up on things and just grins from ear to ear. The other day she pushed her little Elmo chair up to the front of the recliner and used it as a step to get into it, she was so proud of herself. Here she is up on Kenzie's bed.
I've had this play set with lip glosses and nail polish and stuff in it downstairs for a long time and Kenzie keeps wanting to play with it, so I finally let her get a couple things out of it. Here she is in the bathroom "putting her make-up on."OOOO-LA-LA! Gimme a kiss!

Whew.... What a weekend!

So this weather this weekend was Great! Despite the chilly wind here and there it was really nice! Friday afternoon Dianne and I took the girls to Baby Animal Days. The girls really had fun, Brooklyn just mostly wanted to pull on their fur but she did like looking at all the animals. There were chickens, turkeys, peacocks, geese and ducks all over the place! They had baby bunnies, ducks, and little chicks for the kids to hold. They had petting zoos set up with baby pigs, goats, sheep, cows, baby horses, alpacas, and the biggest, softest bunny I've ever seen! Thanks for going with us Grandma! See how big this bunny is, It was nearly as big an Brooklyn!GET ME OUTTA HERE! Brooklyn thought the little horses were pretty neat until they cornered her!
Bunny loves. Isn't that just so sweet!Look at that little mischevious grin! She wanted that little bunny SO bad!
On our way home we stopped at my mom's, Savanah was there and for once I had my camera. Isn't she a cutie!
Saturday we went to Donald and Judy's house for dinner, since they'd been out 4-wheeling earlier that day we took the girls for a little ride while we were there.Sunday afternoon Chad and I took the girls to the park here in town. Kenzie was so silly, she kept telling us "I'm gonna go do something on that toy over there and don't even watch k guys!" Then Chad climbed up on one of those big domes made of metal bars and she tells him, "I don't think that's a good idea ok dad."Poor little girl has my skin! Just a few minutes in the sun and she's burnt! Brooklyn got her first little sunburn, last night her little cheeks were all red. Today has been really nice too, except its getting really windy because there's another storm coming tonight and it's supposed to be yucky tomorrow and Wednesday. I just hope it clears up again for the weekend again!

This Lovely Spring Weather!

Ahhh springtime, you just never know what to expect! Tuesday was nice, it was pretty warm and the girls enjoyed playing outside! Wednesday we got more snow, enough to blanket the ground again but it warmed up today and most of it has melted away. My aunt Connie came over today and we met her and Jerry and my mom at the park. This weekend is supposed to be really nice. We can't wait!
Awww.... Isn't this just too cute! Everybody loved feeding the ducks. Look at that tounge! Brooklyn loves to swing. She giggled the whole time! This is how Kenzie does the monkey bars!

Here Goes...

So this is my first time blogging. I have lots of friends and family that do it and I love to get on them and see pictures of their kids and find out what's new, so I am giving it a try. Here are a few pictures of our girls from Easter. This is Kenzie painting Easter eggs at Meahma and Papa's house (that's what we call my mom and dad), and yes that's a paintbrush! She would have sat there all day if there had been more eggs. She loves to pretend to paint so she really loved actually doing it!
This was Easter morning, the girls were checking to see what the Easter Bunny brought. Brooklyn was so excited about her new shoes she just had to have them on and they wouldn't fit over her pj's. The little stinker also managed to open one of the plastic eggs and was stuffing jellybeans in her mouth. She's trying to look so sweet and innocent, too bad she got blue stuff all over her face!

Here are the the girls in their Easter dresses and Kenzie with her hair curled. It doesn't last long and she doesn't let me do it very often, I had to get a picture while I could.

This was our easter Egg hunt at Grandma and Grandpa Liebes' house.
