My little girl is not so little anymore!

I can’t believe it but my little princess is turning 4! It’s shocking how fast 4 years have gone by! She such a fun and sweet little girl to have around, I wish I could keep her like this forever! She gave a us quite a scare when she came into this world, and we are extremely lucky to have her in our family, I thank God for letting her come home with us after the scariest 2 weeks of my life!
We had a birthday party Saturday with some of our family and friends, we got out the pool and let the kids play in the water and had dinner. I have to say that Kenzie is SPOILED!!! She really likes cheerleader stuff lately and her Meahma & Papa (my Mom and Dad) got her a cheerleader outfit, she immediatley put it on and wore it most of the night, that is until she wanted to try the one with the tutu on it. Troy, Holli and Savanah also got a Barbie one and she's been changing between the 3 all weekend. After most of our guests had left Chad and his brothers Donald and Jared got into a water fight. They were running all over soaking each other. It was pretty entertaining! Since Grandma and Grandpa were gone Saturday they came Sunday and to wish Kenzie a Happy Birthday. They got her a game with a floor-mat that teaches her how to move her arms and do cheers. So again she put on her cheerleader outfit and her and Grandma practiced together.

I took so many pictures I couldn't decide which to post so I made them into a slide show.

She is so smart and funny, everyday she says or does something that amazes me or make me laugh. Although she has a definite stubborn streak, she is such a little sweetheart! I wanted to share some of the cute thing she does or has done recently.

*Whenever I go to work or leave at all, when I return she tells me, "I missed you today."

*When we are getting ready to leave in the morning she opens the door for me, "Since she could see my hands are full" and she says "Are we ready to go girls?" to Brooklyn and I.

*She asked Chad at dinner one day, "What did you do today, Daddy?" Well, he does maintenance and started explaining something he’d been working on and she sat and listened as if she understood every word!

*We love American Idol and this past season there was a guy on there with dreadlocks, she’s watching him, then turns to me and says, "Mom, I don’t like his hair, it looks like it has worms it." (Hopefully she keeps that same opinion forever!)

Whaddya think?

So I have been wanting to go get the girls pictures done but I just hate it! I've had too many bad experiences and a lot of times I go back for retakes because something didn't turn out, etc. Its always such a hassle and they cost so much so I decided to dress the girls up and go outside and snap a few myself, here's a few of my favorites, whaddya think?

I took a lot more, they are on a slide show @ http://www.slide.com/r/YFRoPDv2qT_YQVCftKVltIDkQE11Ti0N?previous_view=mscd_embedded_url&view=original

Non-Stop Weekend

Saturday we went to Michelle and Brandon's to help them work on finishing thier backyard. While the guys were working in the backyard we let the kids play in the pool out front. They had so much fun! It was probably the first HOT day we've had this year.
Don't worry her face is not actually in the water! She's such a water baby, she was crawling in it!
The girls love to go to Davin's house to play because there's so many little boy toys that we dont have at home.
Kenzie loved this little computer. It teaches letters and since we've been teaching her letters at home she thought it was so neat to recognize the letters it was asking for and have it tell her what a good job she was doing! The look on her face tells all!Davin was telling me all about the neat-o cards that go in the computer. After the guys got it all tilled up we raked the rocks into piles and loaded them into the back of the 4 wheeler to dump them. All the kids loved going along for the ride.
Sunday was Father's Day so we met up with my Mom and Dad and brothers and had a little picnic and they guys were able to fish while we were there. Here's the girls hanging out with their Daddy. When someone would catch a fish that was too small to keep the girls were throwing them back into the water, it was just too cute to watch them lose them since they were all wet and slimy. It took Brooklyn about 10 tries to get this one back in the water because it kept slipping out of her hands and flopping around so much she couldn't really get ahold of it. I was surprised to see them since do it, especially Kenzie because she's such a girly-girl but she was quite a trooper. She was reeling fish in with her Uncle Alex and a little while later she was bringing me the worms saying' "Look mom its just a little tiny one, isn't it cute?"
As you've probably noticed by now I love to take pictures! I took a lot more of the girls and my family on Sunday, check them out on our family blog @ http://www.kstaylorfamily.blogspot.com/

Just wanted to say Happy Father's Day to all the Daddy's out there. Hope you have a great Day! We are thankful for the wonderful Daddy we have in our family! We love him very much and couldn't have asked for a better one!

Just playing around...

It's finally warm again, and supposed to stay that was for at least a week. I won't be holding my breath though, the weather this year has been weird! Here's some pics of the girls playing in thier sandbox which they absolutely love!

We also got some sidewalk chalk and it was pretty entertaining until Brooklyn thought she'd eat it. She got it on her face and nose then when I told her NO! It's yucky, she looks at me and says Mmmmmmm! Mmmmmmm! She's full of it!

Kenzie really likes to write and color so I knew she'd enjoy it! We have K's all over our porch and driveway. She's been practicing writing her name and she's mastered the "K" so she writes it all the time.

Birthday Party!

Our friends Michelle and Brandon had a Birthday Party for their son, Davin yesterday. It was a lot of fun, they had a nice dinner for friends and family to celebrate. It was a dinosaur theme party and all the little kids got to play a game similar to pin the tail on the donkey - only it was dinosaurs instead. It was funny to watch all the little kids, they werent even blind-folded but they just put them wherever. They all got bubbles for a prize for playing and everyone went outside and either blew or chased bubbles. I took a lot of pictures so I decided to make a slide show with them.

Fun Filled Friday!

This week we got our garden ready and Thursday Clint came and stayed the night so I could finish planting and start some major work on the yard. Everything had been landscaped but I think the previous owners neglected it and now the flower beds are packed with weeds and they have a ridiculous, uneven rock border that we got rid of yesterday. Kenzie loves playing with Clint so it was nice to have him here to keep the girls busy and help me lift some of the bigger rocks. Chad also took the day off so he was here to help. While we were doing it the girls decided it was pretty fun and started putting little ones on the trailer with us, even Brooklyn was helping! Here's a picture of the girls climbing on all the rocks we cleaned up.

After working on the yard all morning we decided to pack a lunch and drive up the little canyon by our house and have a picnic. It was so gorgeous up there, everything is so green and there's wildflowers everywhere and the river probably had the most water I've ever seen in it. Since Clint was with us I made him snap a few pics of us.

Heres's the girls having lunch with their Uncle Clint.

Walking with the girlsMe and Chad (look at all the water behind us!)Some pretty scenery...
